Tottenham transfer news: Mourinho forced to settle on striker after previously failed bids | Football | Sport

Mourinho though doesn’t have much say in who the club are trying to sign, according to Portuguese outlet Record.

It is claimed the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss hasn’t been able to enter the market for a striker as strongly as he would have liked.

The report lists Alexander Sorloth, Danny Ings, Bas Dost and Callum Wilson as options Tottenham have been interested in this summer but ultimately failed to bring in.

But there seems to be progress made in talks with Benfica to sign Seferovic.
