Liverpool injury news: Jurgen Klopp hints two stars could make return against Arsenal | Football | Sport

Jurgen Klopp has provided updates on four Liverpool players currently out injured, with two potentially returning in time to face Arsenal on Monday. The Reds thrashed Lincoln to progress to the Carabao Cup on Thursday night.

Klopp made 10 changes from the side which beat Chelsea 2-0, with Virgil van Dijk the only Liverpool player keeping his place.

Injuries to Joel Matip, Joe Gomez and Billy Koumetio meant Rhys Williams was given his first start and he impressed at the back.

Fabinho then came on at half-time to replace Van Dijk at the back with the Brazilian potentially having to play in defence more regularly this season.

He put in a solid performance alongside Van Dijk in the win over Chelsea, stemming the threat of Timo Werner and their attacking players.
