Barcelona reject £137m bid for Man Utd transfer target Ansu Fati | Football | Sport

Barcelona have rejected a £137million bid for wondered Ansu Fati, according to report in Spain. Manchester United have been linked with the 17-year-old, although the club which made the offer has not been named.

Spanish publication Marca claims United are the side who have the strongest interest in Fati.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to sign a young right winger after missing out on Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

A host of alternatives have been drawn up but Fati is deemed an unrealistic target by Old Trafford chiefs.

Barcelona do not want to sell the teenager, who will be a big part of their first team this season.

When Fati was promoted to the senior squad this summer his release fee rose from £155m to £365m.

“I’ll keep working in each training session as hard as I can like always and if I have the chance I will try to take advantage.

“We are really happy, above all for the team’s win. We played a great game and have to continue in this way.

“It’s a pride to work with all the players that are here. They have received me with open arms from the first day and with all the confidence in the world.”
